However, for soft specimens with measurements of less than 20 points, the ASKER C type or Type E Durometer (ASKER E type) should be used. The most important consideration in using durometers is to select the correct type for purposes of measurement according to the specimen.

[/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=”Outer Dimension (mm)” _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]

[/et_pb_tab][/et_pb_tabs][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][0 _i=”0″ _address=”2.0.0.0″ theme_builder_area=”post_content” /][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

The ASKER Durometer Type JA for general rubber, conforming to the specifications of the former JIS K 6301.
